Video types
Video types are a set of rules that will be used to create VideoGenius video. You can have as many video types per brand as you want. All enabled video types will be rendered whenever you add a new article for this brand.
Social media
Social media videos are short videos that are mostly used for social media posts. They are usually 30-60 seconds long and are designed to be eye-catching and engaging.
Settings for this video type are:
- Project - a base project that will be used for rendering. You can either pick a custom project or a design from our library.
- Template - a template that will be used for rendering, associated with the project.
- Target language - language that will be used for the video. Does not need to be same as default language of the brand.
- Default CTA - default Call to Action, typically shown at the end of the video. This could be something like “Visit our website,” “Subscribe now,” or “Download the app.” It helps drive user engagement.
- Logo URL (optional) - a link to the logo image that will be displayed in the video.
- Music (optional) - background music that will play during the video. Choose a track that matches the tone of your message. Ideally, the track should be long enough to cover the full video duration without looping awkwardly or cutting off suddenly.
Summary slideshow
Summary slideshow videos are longer videos that summarize an article in a more detailed way. The body of the article will be summarized by AI. Then, VideoGenius will generate voiceover, select appropriate stock assets, and assemble everything into a cohesive video.
Settings for this video type are:
- Project - base project that will be used for rendering. You can either pick a custom project or a design from our library.
- Template - template that will be used for rendering, associated with the project.
- Target language - language that will be used for the video. Does not need to be same as default language of the brand.
- Default CTA (optional) - default Call to Action, typically shown at the end of the video. This could be something like “Visit our website,” “Subscribe now,” or “Download the app.” It helps drive user engagement.
- Stock asset settings - lets you choose which type of assets should our tool favor when picking stock assets for the video. You can choose between Image, Video and Mixed. If you choose Mixed, our tool will pick a mix of images and videos, and if you choose Image or Video, it will pick only images or videos, respectively.
- Summary provider settings - allows you to select the AI or service that generates the video summary. You can also specify the writing style (e.g., professional, casual, engaging, etc.) to better match your brand tone.
- Voiceover provider settings - lets you choose the service used for generating the voiceover. You can customize the voice name, pitch, and speed to create the desired tone and pacing for the narration. For example, a slower speed and softer pitch can sound more calm and thoughtful, while a faster, higher-pitched voice might feel more energetic and dynamic.
Presenter disabled
Presenter videos are similar to summary slideshow videos, with one key difference, they also have an on-screen presenter (AI avatar) that will read the script.
Presenter video type is under development. We’re working on adding more features and improving the quality of the rendering.
